I was envisioning the cringeworthy bill Kenwright show tunes renditions of forever Everton and grand old team blasting out and totally killing our hostile atmosphere in our wonderful new stadium.

The stadium is worth the whole debt and more, it's an asset really. The issue is the banks won't let us refinance in the precarious position we were/are in. We've saved ourselves from relegation which knocks one reason off, now we need to find stability in the ownership structure and try not to be a basket case next season with more points deductions etc. and then we should be able to refinance the whole lot when it starts to generate income.
