New Everton Stadium

I've noticed some rubbish and what appears to be offcuts of some description lying around the stadium,
I hope they get cleared up before the place opens,
Really takes the look off it in my opinion
I also think the work men being there in hi-vis and the lorries delivering materials really detracts from the aesthetic. You don’t see that at the Spurs stadium for example. Can only pray they sort it before it opens.

To be fair, the stadium project has been managed well by Colin Chong. It’s been the funding for it that’s been chaotic, but that’s on Moshiri.

We’ve also scored an enormous sponsorship deal with Castore on his watch as interim CEO.

Friedkin’s involvement in okaying any deal is also pretty much guaranteed at this stage. As you say, if it has a 10 year lifespan, it’ll be key to his plans.
There is also the Red Bull deal which has come out of nowhere.

2 massive acts announced at Anfield for next year in Billy Joel and Springsteen. I really hope we tried for either of them at BMD. If we didn’t then it’s not good enough from those in charge.
Both in June though - I get what you're saying but I'd prefer the first event at the new stadium to be an Everton match, not a bunch of OAPs on a makeshift stage before we've even played there.

Very possible, however I'm still not ruling out the fact that corner sticks out beyond the roof covering (& gutter system):

Now I know you can get localised blockages but it seems a big coincidence that the water lines look almost exactly where it juts out, the waterway appears like it would spill out over a larger area and need to be blown back to hit that terracing wall. It is also very neat lines, if was blocked I'd expect perhaps the inside corner to be dry or at least a lighter colour and the points where it intersects to be darker.

And yes, I am that sad!

We may get a clear video that shows exactly where the water is coming from and it shows I'm totally wrong and it is from the guttering channel, but until I get proof I'm hedging my bets.

It's no biggy whatever, if it's blocked they'll sort it. If it's what I think it could be they'll cover it up from inside as per the designs.

I would expect it is more a mixture of both. If there was a blockage, the water would run down over the perforated cladding. Running water will be more likely to pass through the cladding than rain on its own. It may have been pouring over right along the roofline, but only here that it has passed through the perforations and I to the seating bowl. Either way, I doubt it will be a regular occurrence.
