Thank God we won last night.

Imagine losing to that shower last night in the same week where there is a no-flying zone around the stadium.

If we keep scoring from set pieces the way we did last night, then we can expect refs to give goal kicks instead of corners, in much the same way that we don't get penalties any more.

A friend of mine was give a tour of the new ground last week, said it was fantastic, it was stated on the tour that Laings will hand over before Xmas and Everton will begin the £40m fit out in Jan, so still a load of work to be done before it is operational, and it will likely look a lot different in a few months once the branding and fit out is done.
