My first post was meant sarcastic. Would be great if it ended up looking like that. That would be very very nice
2028:
Just realised you'll be able to swap seats with someone you know to a completely different stand for a game or even at half time, seeing as the concourse on a given level lets us have access to 75% of the GA seats. A good chance to see a few different views inside the new stadium.
Doesn't cost that much.Give him 2 billion he could have done that.
No idea realy but he must have had financial constraints.Doesn't cost that much.
Utterly livid that the Stadium you said would never happen is nearly done. He's compromised at every turn. No principles whatsoever. Always pacifying the client.
For £700M we could have got an iconic stadium from HKS.
As it stands we have a very striking stadium roof + a world class location.
This could have been a hell of a lot better. It's not an act of betrayal to say that either. You have to speak your mind on these matters.
Like the good old days you'll be able to swap ends at half time (to a degree).Just realised you'll be able to swap seats with someone you know to a completely different stand for a game or even at half time, seeing as the concourse on a given level lets us have access to 75% of the GA seats. I've heard that was the case in the mid 60's. I was in nappies at the time. Must have been great.Like the good old days you'll be able to swap ends at half time (to a degree).

I'm not livid. Far from it.Utterly livid that the Stadium you said would never happen is nearly done.
Frothing.
I was thinking that, but as it's metal sheeting I don't think that would give the effect you're after. It would just create lots of coloured dots rather than lighting up the whole thingI hope one day they remove those lights and put LEDs behind the barrel cladding so that it can all light up. Still, looking amazing and what a step up for the club.
That stadium is covered in a translucent material so the effect is from internal lighting shining through.Agreed on this, it would be even better if it could all light up like the Allianz Arena.
Pots and kettles Dave. You're the Leonardo da Vinci of "extreme reactions"Honest to God, the extreme reaction from people if you express any view other than ecstatic reverence for this building is off the charts mad.
