In that photo you are really see how much space is underneath the north stand. It is like a roadway, as they said.

I thought that myself, actually.

There was an Audi A3 parked down there, which was useful for scale.

You can just about make it out here:

It’s easily wider than Goodison Road, Gwladys Street or Bullens Road.

A non-issue.

Enjoyable as the bus chatter is, loads of you must be looking forward to the leisurely walk along the many bars and eateries that are soon to pop up along the way.

How long does it take you?

It's very rare I have to get the bus thankfully. By distance it is 1.4 miles, when I've walked to the pub which isn't much further it's taken me roughly 25 minutes.

Yes mate. Have walked that road out many times and it will just become an extension of the city centre given. It’s a given.

Finally got my drone up at Bramley-Moore. Weather has always stopped me on my previous visits.

I know everyone sees millions of these things and they aren’t particularly special (except to me) - but here are some pics.

Ta! Wanted to get out when there was still a bit of light in the sky, but it was just too windy.

Some pure speculation on my part
but I saw on one of the drone videos yesterday that one of the lights over by the HVAC equipment in the northwest corner was still out.
I'm hoping that there is some sort of network that can't be adjusted till all the barrel lights are fully operational.
It's all I can think of.
Even if it's the permanent look, I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to change over the next 6 months.

Even if they can’t adjust the beam to make it a wider more washed effect, I can’t believe a fix wouldn’t be as simple a putting an alternative lens or diffuser over each light.
I am beginning to think the spot light effect is per design unfortunately, which is bizarre when the under side of the south stand is more diffused.

They really got to sort those lights out. In what is an absolutely amazing stadium, the last thing it needs, is to look like a spaceship landed on a warehouse.

Yeah, I wanted to get a low one because people understandably don’t get too low with their drones… and indeed I nearly lost mine!

I think a pic taken from the ground on the far side of Nelson Dock will look amazing.
