New Everton Stadium

The council paid for a lot of the restoration work around bramley moore and presumably will be investing in more transport and infrastructure if required.

No they're not. Liverpool got tens of millions for that big stand, we're getting nothing.

United are now getting billions in tax payers money for train lines, stations, housing and offices for what is already a pretty affluent area, as well as being close to media city which got a sheer amount of funding.

We had DBB (the headlock CEO) who didn't try to get this for us. She was and maybe still is the lead on HS2 to Liverpool, how did that turn out?

Failed us on all accounts

I believe the freight lines they're relocating are going through Liverpool to St Helens.

I'm not surprised people are not aware of the impact this is having, when areas in the north are in dire need of investment. Yet we should all clap and applaud a football club which doesn't pay tax, or its new billionaire part owner; who also doesn't pay tax, getting an unprecedented level of funding for the surrounding area since London 2012.

Andy Burnham has shown his true colours, only cares about his career than the whole picture.

Rotherham is not fit to be our mayor.

I read somewhere recently that the new park end was built on the basis we were gonna be a championship club by the time it was finished, but not sure if that's true. It was certainly a disastrous decision to build essentially a poxy league one stand when we had all that room to use.

But we've been making smalltime decisions since about 1970 if we're honest, the mid 80's success was achieved 'despite' the board.

I was gobsmacked to learn our main stand with severe obstructed views was built at the same time of Chelsea's.

Stop talking shiz Butters.

Man utd haven't had anything , just a proposal for funding for infrastructure.

What the government spends its money on does pal. And also moving the freight lines and depot to the LCR does.

Probably hard for you to understand that, but you'll get there soon mate.
Andy Burnham will do what he's paid to do, his best for his city.
The failings or otherwise of our Mayor to do the same are down to him, not Andy Burnham.

Oh and I'm not your pal nor your mate 👍

I'm made up you think I'm not your pal. A serial attention seeker on here and come across as a bit of a bully when you don't agree with people.

Burnham is happy to take money for his region if it means the Liverpool city region is impacted (I said LCR earlier but I feel I need to explain this to you).

If it helps change your judgement, it came out today that Burnham threatened an independent news outlet in Manchester for wanting to expose Sacha Lord, who he appointed as his "night life" guy.

Turns out he pocketed £400k of government money and had to resign today due to it, and there's more coming.

You'll probably say it has nothing to do with Bramley Moore, but it does. We've been denied an opportunity for gov investment in the local area and transport because of him and Rotherham.

Oh I'm well grown up...... PAL

You ?

Just stop preaching your shoite on here.

We have a Magnificent New Stadium yet all you do is bitch about anything & everything without any sort of substance.

Your covers blown Butters .

How toxic has this forum become where you have stuff like this posted.

The money was off the Arts Council. Nothing to do with trains, freight or transport.

Crying at bully, youre so nasty 😭
