New Everton Stadium

I think they can really bring this up another level with the interior decoration and fit out. Banners, flags, blue paintwork, etc. Still think we're missing a trick with the goalposts/nets. Is it mandated that all PL posts/nets have to be identical? I'd love to see us put in something unique. Everything in football shouldn't have to be generic.

Didn't we used to have blue nets one time at Goodison?

Could somebody post the prices for each stand please?

The link the club have sent me just has everywhere greyed out so I can’t see how much each stand is.

We did. Mid '80s.

Today, everything everywhere is so samey. Back in the day you knew what stadium you were watching on TV simply by the shape of the posts and nets. Barcelona and PSV in the 80s, the stanchions at Spurs or West Ham. Wembley had its own look.

Then everything became sanitised and sterile.

It’s gonna be at least 2-3 years until we know this stadium is actually like.
All issues should be ironed out and all the excitement and blue tinted specs will have been took off by then.

Ok I've seen all your loaded sausage rolls and giant blue doughnuts, but I'm a man of refinement. Is it just the bog-standard disgusting coffee on sale or have they got some decent stuff available? It's a deal-breaker for me. I bet Spurs have barristas in micro-beanies serving flat-whites and skinny lattes.
I had a coffee last night, never slept when I got in I swear it was the coffee. Proper machines, nice coffee but strong as speed. House is clean tho was like Madge of Something about Mary

Did we not have them in the late 90's early 2000? Yeh, I completely agree. We definitely need more of our own look. Would of been smart to have the archibald leitch effect on the LED advertising screens running around ground (imo) I know we have them integrated into the beams, though they are subtle. Again, I guess it's just a matter of taste

Filbert Street with the balls bouncing out the net they were that tight.

I think we might even have had them as late as the 2010s - on and off.

We'll be adding those LED advertising board "strips" as well, won't we? From what I gather, the current look is very much the house before you move the furniture in.

Just been watching that presentation Dan Meis gave in the Atlantic hotel opposite Bramley Moore where he spoke of his vision for the stadium, that was 5 years ago.
He deserves a special mention. I'm sure he was handsomely rewarded but he definitely understood Everton. To steer away from the soulless bowl design to give us this magnificent home on the River takes some doing regardless. He could have designed something simple but he went for it, and how.
