New Everton Stadium

Who reckons the multi faith room will become the beak sniffing room?

It's an interesting point. Will there be a member of staff working there to ensure it's a peaceful room for those wanting to practice their faith? Is it limited to certain religions? IMO a completely and unnecessary room in a football stadium.

Intolerance what? Something like a faith room doesn't hurt anyone and there's no need whatsoever to stir the pot. Some everton fans will follow a religious faith that may require them to pray during a trip to BMD. Same as modern shopping centres and airports. No need to get involved

I absolutely love the Everton Greats going in to Everton Way. Will we have enough space for all of our greats? I see some of the more unheralded members of our great sides in there as well (Bracewell, Heath, van den Hauwe) - which is marvelous - but wonder how many we will have in total? From what I can see so far, we will have Catterick, Kendall, Harvey, Dean, Wilson, Southall, Sheedy, Bracewell, Ratcliffe, Heath, van den Hauwe, Temple, Hickson, Young, Ferguson, Lyons...

Who am I missing?

Who is expected to go in?

How many in total?

I think this is a fabulous touch - so much more classy than the Everton Timeline which was open to abuse by including the likes of Kenwright. I really, really hope that man does not get a place in this. No administrators, please. Just players.

When I bought my stone, I paid extra to get mine put around one of the Everton greats stones, no idea which one Ill be next to, but Im excited to find out.

No one's arsed if someone wants to pray or not. I doubt they will get used, I was highlighting it'll most likely be used by smokers and beak heads. No need to be so self righteous.

Hi All,
Sorry to ask what might be a daft question and maybe one that has already been answered previously….but, assuming that The Old Lady is demolished, does anyone know what will be done with the “Goodison Granites”?
When people bought those I guess most would have thought that they’d be in position for more than a decade. Seems a shame if they’re going to be smashed up and end up as building hardcore at some point.

The intention when the original Goodison legacy stuff was announced was that they were going to remain where they are.

As far as anyone is aware, that remains the plan.

Scandalous this.

It's all feeling a bit remote to me.

I'm nowhere near eligible for a season ticket so I'm looking at a stadium tour as being the only way I can get access to this place.

Everton need to be aware they have a responsibility to keep this new stadium as accessible as Goodison. We are community based club, after all.
It will be, the security needs to be maintained for a while longer the closer the other lot get to winning the league the closer damage being done gets.. I'm staying in Liverpool for a night in early July I'm hoping by then it will be open for tours and Everton way will be accessible.
