As good as BMD is, the big end behind the goal at Spurs blows the South Stand out the water for me. Just wasnt what we was originally promised and as much as id like not to I cant help but feel underwhelmed.

Spurs are a richer club in a richer city (in an even richer neighborhood) and their corporate and luxury hospitality needs are bigger. Nice as the Everton stadium is, Spurs couldn’t get away with building that for themselves. It would be considered cheap.

Spurs also had to outdo the Emirates, which is no simple task. Everton’s bar to clear with Big Stand FC was a lot lower.

Have you been to Spurs?
I have been to both and I dont think there is a comparison.

On the other hand my 12 year old lad went to both and he think ours is better so what do I know

Been to Spurs stadium twice. Just doesn't feel like a football ground to me. Too many LED lights etc. Really can't stand the corporate seats right next to the away end.

Also, in terms of location, Haringay is a bit of a dump.

I have been to both our new stadium and Spurs' ground. Honestly, the only thing I think they have done better than our ground is the concourse (at least in their South Stand).

Both are impressive stadiums, but I prefer the location and design of our ground. By comparison, Tottenham's ground feels otherworldly when set against the surrounding area. Of course, it is worth remembering that clubs can only have so much influence over the area which surrounds their stadiums.

Looked a lot posher from the aerial shots they show on televised games, of course they can move the less nice bits out of the frame.

The rest of what I said stands, Spurs wouldn’t have accepted Everton’s stadium even though it’s very nice.
