New Everton Stadium

It would make more sense than Wembley considering Merseyside is surrounded by all the top Rugby league towns?

Well it's a Tri-Series, and obviously there is a large Australian Fanbase in London and surrounding areas, plus it will be seen as a big day out for RL Fans. Plan is

1. Wembley - 90,000
2. Everton Stadium- 53,000
3. Headingley ~ 20,000

So the fact they've chosen Everton Is huge for us, if they make our stadium the flagship NW RL venue.

Can even go on to host events like Magic Weekend.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the videos..... still 1 week to go but hoping situation won't change too much as 1 years tenure may be minimal!

i associate ashes with cricket, almost got excited then
I believe there are Only two sports were you compete in something called the ashes , RL being the second .

Yep I think we’ll get magic fairly handy then going forward the grand final . The proximity to town makes it a perfect venue for magic , the pit not being a successful venue whilst Newcastle and Cardiff went down well .

As you say it's the teams that win trophies. But this is about individual characters that have been 'giants' to the club. I think the wining of trophies and everton giants are not necessarily and should not be the same thing.
A good example I suppose is seamus, it's not his fault that Everton have been crap whilst he has been with us. But he's been an absolute stalwart and worn the badge with pride, a giant in my mind irrespective of being trophyless.
I completely hear what you're saying, but how old is Everton, 150 years old soon and these 30-odd 'giants' are supposed to represent the best and most special players we've had in a century and a half... and David Unsworth is one of them? 😆

Even Coleman, not a chance! Great guy, loves the club (should have retired 5 years ago). I'd put Cahill anyway of him in terms of influence in actual football matches. I love Duncan, but he shouldn't be there either for me.

If we're picking from more 'recent' players (ie since we've been crap), I'd probably put Kevin Campbell in there as God only knows where we'd have ended up without him.

It's been a pitiful last three decades and as far as I'm concerned the last time it was actually a point of genuine pride to be an Everton fan (aside from some fleeting moments) must have been in the 80s.

Anyone assist please, as I am not trusting of the Everton process... I understand it is difficult as not yet the waiting list option but wondering if this remains the same process as maybe 1 account with 2+ ST's registered against it!

We only have 1 'account' with 4 official memberships connected to the account. 3 of which are eligible for ST's from 12th March.

On the 12th March will the system allow me to buy 3 ST's? Expect I do not need a separate online account for each one right?

I personally don't think anybody should get into an Everton giants mural on the basis of being in one of the worst Everton teams ever that happened to win one domestic cup. The bar has to be much, much higher.
I get where you are coming.

I also Can’t help the fact that they were big for me back in the day, we didn’t have much to cheer and those two along with the manager Royle, and big Dunc of course, were giants for me at the time, and they still won the cup, regardless of how bad the team was.
