New Everton Stadium

What i do not understand is why a financing deal when TFG is loaded. Whilst it is good news to have better terms, wouldn't it be even better not having to pay interests at all? I know that big businesses usually don't use their own money or very little of it, but does this means our transfer budget in the summer will not be as big as people expects even with the psr room? I guess naming deal, if there is one, might be the bulk of any transfer budget we may have.
It’s simple.

That £350 million can make them more money deployed elsewhere than it’ll cost them in interest payments.

That depends on the interest...and how successful is your "other" business. I suspect the rate must be around 6 or 7 %, not that easy to make a lot more money using your money elsewhere.

Sure I've read that if it's done as a certain type of refinancing then it doesn't go towards ffp, Tottenham have done this for their stadium.

Hopefully ours is the same

Anyone who chose to go with premium credit for ST payment, when did you receive your docs to sign? Got our tickets yesterday and still had nothing through other than Everton’s confirmation. Other seasons it’s usually come through the same day as purchase.

Of course it is otherwise why would EFC be viable ? They could for example use that £350m as a down-payment on another football club supported by more bank debt and make twice as much. Simple leverage.

We haven't had the usual docs to sign yet, but we had an email asking us to confirm a few details a day after we selected tickets - sure it was in my junk inbox so be sure to check

Once we did that it was all set up. First payment came out a few days ago.

I got my email from Everton on the same day, its the season ticket credit application. Once you've done that, you'll get an email from premium credit confirming it was succesful. It does say on the confirmation from Everton (season ticket purchase) that it could take upto 48 hours to receive. The lead purchaser will receive the email.

Chances are they know how to make money this way much better than most people on here (myself included).
