New Everton Stadium

To an untrained eye like mine this just seems ridiculous, I mean how we must have been run previously. I don't know a thing about accounts and at first glance it seems Moshiri didn't either.
He was/is a very highly qualified accountant, and was good enough to secure a number of senior roles in major accounting firms (as an auditor) before he moved on to senior positions in a number of big companies. Figures like the savings being reported indicate to me the problems he must have had to secure the borrowing for the stadium - the more desparate you are the more you have to pay. Either that or he was a very good blagger at job interviews.

Yeah I suspect that the finances were so bad once Usmanov/USM was out of the picture that he had to resort to the equivalent of payday loans as they were the only people left willing to borrow money in order to get the stadium complete.

Away fans on 2 tiers would require double amount of stewards as basically you would've doubled the size of the "away perimeter" but yes would make sense to thin out the away section like that in my view too.

Not for me. I want the away support nice and visible like always used to be the case. Football is a tribal sport. Without the aways it's carol singing.

Is this on the list of things to be done? Because that would be perfect as people could then walk along there and enter BMD by South West corner rather than everyone walking down the dock road and entering there.
By the new IOM terminal there is work going on, heading towards the stadium not to sure what’s happening but it could be something to do with the riverside walk.

When will I be able to walk all the way from Pier Head to BMD along a riverside path? That will be great if it gets finished.
As others have said you can walk about half way between the IOM terminal and the ground, but there’s a big piece of wasteland that is going to be redeveloped into flats and a park area. Current projection for that to be complete is towards end of 2027, which personally seems like a short period for construction given what they’re planning. But basically once that’s complete there should be a clear path up to BM unless something happens with Nelsons dock.

I don't think there'll be a joined up path until the WHOLE front between Waterloo Dock & Bramley Moore is developed.

Shame if true. I’ve not looked at the whole front properly so was assuming once the wasteland is built on something could be put in through the other docks. Could easily be another 10 years before then.
