New Everton Stadium

Incredible. It underlines the general "it'll be alright on the night" vibe this move has to it.
Might have just been they were not available, but I was a little surprised.

I think the stuff Everton have controlled in regards to BMD has been excellent in the main, they’ve delivered an amazing new home for us.

We should be aiming our fire at the council, they’re support and response has been pathetic.

The club have done their bit, held up their end of there bargain; the local state have been amateurish and its coming home to roost now big time.

Here's the great advice from Everton's transport hub: "Be sure to use your bike to get to the ground...but dont ride through pedestrian traffic".

So you're supposed to get off and wheel it to the ground from about a mile away. May as well walk it.
Funnily enough, I heard an Everton Steward yesterday after the game, saying to some fella on a bike to get off and wheel it.

He was fairly forthright in his declination to do so.

They ran out of paper towels before half time at the 1st event, and there are no hand dryers or hand gel anywhere. 100s of paper towels chucked near an overflowing bin looked awful.

Be interested to know if that has been sorted for tomorrow.

There was hand wash mate, still towels all over the gaff. The bin they put out for them was tiny. There was a wheelie bin in the bogs also but I didn’t want to take the chance opening it.

Looking on the dark side, what's the risk re fisty cuffs inside and outside?
If you can walk all around the stadium inside and the congestion around outside?
How will the away fans arrive and be segregated?

Yep, that's just a few seats away from us, but we're row 56. Great to see the exact view (almost). Did it feel a long climb to get to that far back? Will I need oxygen and a picnic?
No, it doesn't take long but those last few may take their toll the first few times if you're not great with steps?

I'm sure either way a few games in you'll get used to it.
