New Everton Stadium

Ive no problem with Unsworth, he was a good player for us, scored some important goals, this idea that our heroes can only have won multiple trophies needs to end for a team that hasnt won a thing in a generation.

Like the names that Eggs posted above, sorry, but most of them mean nothing to me.

Im proud of our history, Dixie Dean, The holy Trinity, but I didnt live it, it means very little to me, sorry.

He's a dog FFS.

The only thing that counts as 'giant' about him is his enormous arse.

I agree with this, I cringe when history is brought into an argument.
I have more affection for players in my lifetime than any before it.

….yep, I’d have him too. I’d have Tim Howard before Unsworth, genuine Evertonian & clever diplomacy with our US supporters.
My instinct would be to have Baines or Coleman ahead of him.

Not necessarily because of what they achieved at Everton - but they mean a lot to many of the fans going to this new stadium who can’t remember any of those players down there playing.

And the idea that we should commemorate losers and mediocrities - the vast, vast majority of everybody to play for us since 1988 - is also for the birds. If you didn't win a league or cup or both with us, you would need to be very exceptional indeed to earn inclusion here. Baines is about as far as I would go of the last 25 years. I could make an exception for Cahill on the basis of his scoring records in derbies. But then people like Paul Rideout, who actually scored the winning goal in a cup final, should be knocking on doors too. It's why the likes of Coleman should not be next or near this.

Unsworth the only player ive seen be booed twice by our fans during a match on seperate occasions. Ridiculous hes counted as a legend luckily the fella who voted him in isnt here anymore
