I think they are more pissed with the idea the council are footing the bill and taking the moral high ground saying it's in bad taste spending money on a stadium when the city of Liverpool is in a poor state economically.
 

I could be wrong but I thought the majority of production was for pellets and pig iron??

Would be good if they did, but then whoever the structural engineers are will have to be willing to use it rather than its own suppliers.

I haven't clue tbh Mooms, just remember someone at the match on Saturday saying they have something to do with steel and they're (USM/Whatever its called) is doing the steel.

Probably a load of rubbish like.

Edit: Metalloinvest innit? See now I have no idea if they provide steel or whatever but I've deffo read a thing on Moshiri calling him a "Steel magnate" (or however you spell that term)

They are a huge mining Corp mate, which also produces steel used in construction projects.
