Imagine, if the government stepped in, and regulated the Premier League properly, and they, and all the clubs found, that in the best interest of the game, the clubs, and more importantly the fans, the current way our game is managed needs to be drastically changed - for the better.

Out with the old and in with the new:

OUT
- The Corrupt Premier League monopoly
- Sky Sports
- TNT/BT
- Amazon
- Other

IN
A brand new, government led regulated “Netflix” like company “EPL TV” or “Premier League TV” or whatever, setup to show ALL PL not just the big 6 games primarily. It could be the lead broadcaster for news and official club related news, etc.

Ran using various subscriptions or for individual games to be streamed for sensible prices. For example £1 a game.

OVERHAUL OF FOOTBALL FROM THE ROOTS
we could even look at bringing every single club in all the leagues into it, in the future.

The PL/Sky shouldnt have the monopoly and power, the PL officials shouldnt throw the games (our) money about like its all theirs. WE, the fans should have more of a say.

Nobody was forced to pay for sky in the early days. If Sky had never had a subscriber, football would have stayed on the bbc and itv. But they did.

The powers that be would only fix it in someway to give more money to the sky six.

Personally I'd prefer to see a move away from the Premier League completely.

Could look at forming a northern powerhouse league with the Scottish Premier League?

The Scottish league has been struggling recently so if they added the likes of Everton ,Leeds, Blackburn, Preston and Sheffield Wednesday and United it could create a new fresh league and would mean lot's more big games for the smaller Scottish teams. It would also give the six English teams a more realistic crack at getting European football too.

Scrap VAR too. That would be a big selling point!

If the government were to regulate football, I believe FIFA would ban all English clubs and the national team from all international competitions.
