I need to know a few things if you don't mind mate:

  1. Your favourite cut of Uruguayan meat?
  2. Your favourite red wine?
  3. Your favourite empanada?
1. Typical "asado uruguayo", a kind of cow rack. Very traditional here and in Argentina, in a barbacue of course.
2. I don't drink a lot of wine as I'm 19. I'm much more fond of a good beer. Anyway, the best wine I tasted was a Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile called Casillero del Diablo.
3. And the empanada is a tough one, I'm between cheese and olives, and the " criolla" which is meat cuted in medium pieces and very spicy.
Now your turn, but with English food and drink! I want to know what to eat there..

I prefer Uruguayan food to be honest mate.

1 - Vacio
2 - Any decent Malbec slightly chilled
3 - Tough but a simple cheese one with the above is sensational.

You know quite a lot! There must be a reason for that...
I believe your cuisine is very underrated. Few good stews, a proper lamb pie with a pint, or even the pastry which seems a bit like an empanada!

Likewise you know a lot and have a wonderful grasp of English. Have you spent much time in England?
In fact, I have never been there. I started to raise money 4 years ago to fulfil my dream to go there. I must be honest, I love everyting there: the culture, the language, the cities, the countryside (your villages and landscapes are wonderful). Fortunately I could save a bit and I already have my tickets for the 28 of January :)

Good choice but prefer entraña when having an 'asado'.

Hey Everton Loyal. When you get to England don't be offended if people call you negrito and bite you. They're only trying to make you feel at home.
