NEW KIT ?

anyone know if we are getting a new kit as i saw all 3 shirts in sports direct today, reduced to £10 kids, think £15 adults, was gonna get my son one then thought maybe we are getting a new one ??

I doubt we will be getting a Nike branded kit. They are maintaining the Umbro brand as they are actually, economically own the biggest market share in Europe (or something close to it). They just want the money basically, and will probably phase Umbro out over the years.

Either way, will probably get a new kit for the new season, lots of people don't agree with it, but it is a great way to make money.

To be honest I dont mind the new kits as I am like Monty rotund and would look stupid in a football shirt thats what the wife says so only have to buy the grandson one and a small one for one of the wife's teddy bears and then those little enamel badges in kit form so its the guys who look alright wearing them with a couple of kids I feel sorry for

It would be good if the new strip looks a bit different for a change, the last 3 home chang shirts have been almost identical. Didn't bother getting this seasons shirt as it was virtually the same as last seasons so I got the retro Cup Winners Cup shirt instead.

sports direct is the chain thats owned by that mike ashley guy,streetwise and sports soccer are all the same shop basically, oh and i think sportsworld is the new incarnation. the one in warrington near homebase had the shirts, the shop next door was a jjb clearance but is closing and theres nowt left, but i've had training tops from there for £1 and last years gold one for 50p, the training tops are more comfortable as a tshirt and dont date when they do a kit change.

Sorry to drag it up, but straight from the horses mouth (well my mate who works for Umbro!). Just thought I would pass on the message I got from him today.

"Checked today and yes there's a new kit coming out in July..someone's got to pay our bonus! Let me know what you want nearer the time and i'll do the necessary."

Knowing what Umbro are like the kit will be the exact same template as every other Umbro kit, so expect it to be similar to the new England away kit but blue!

made a mock up of what might be the new Everton kit...was bored so I decided to give it a go.

Considering we're sponsored by Umbro and Umbro teams all have pretty much the same kit I think it's safe to say that we might have the England away kit as our kit next season so I've photoshopped it to see what it'll look like...not that I like the England away kit.
