Will be like Italy, about 6 away fansImagine the Etihad... but emptier.
They wouldn't start at the bottom though. They'd come back into the prem and the prem will give then a fine (because they don't want to penalise the fans). It will fall flat on its arse, and would be a funny site seeing them trying to reintegrate in to there home leagues again, starting at the bottom of the cycle, eg National league. ( more like Sunday league ) with ffp now being enforced.
The clubs would go out of business just from the wage bill or they would have to just give the players away and literally start from scratch. ( with no great academy's to help them out.
Issue then is the CL would become a joke competition without some of the elite. It would become a joke league.
I didnt sign up to support a team in a joke league.
But its never happening thankfully.
They would be kicked out The English league and any and all UEFA comps.Issue then is the CL would become a joke competition without some of the elite.
Would the 6 hang around playing in a Europa League type competition.
I can see them thinking long and hard over this.
We know deep down they won't be thrown out of the PL. The league is too spineless. They would be kicked out The English league and any and all UEFA comps.
It's nothing like the champions leagueHow many people frothing at the mouth at the Super League have even bothered to look at what it is? It's basically a glorified Champions League that f's over UEFA, not the FA.
They might beWe know deep down they won't be thrown out of the PL. The league is too spineless.
They are replacing the UEFA comps with this anyway so wouldn't be bothered.
Oh I'd love them to be kicked out never to be seen again but we just know the PL will bend over backwards to keep them. They might be
The reason they get such special treatment which is unwarranted and sickening already is because they are supposedly a draw to the league. That would no longer be the case when they are playing their B-teams in the PL
The domestic leagues are what made these clubs global names and they are more dependent on it than they realise.
I would love it if they left (outright) and came crawling back in a few years when people are bored to tears with the same teams playing each other all the time in an unsporting, no-relegation, globetrotter style league.
The Super League seems nothing more than a bigger version of those meaningless pre-season tournaments. I wouldn't even turn my head if it was on next to me.
But the PL wouldn't like that as it would make a mockery of the league. And I can't see the TV sponsors being happy with showing City reserves against Spurs youth at the business end of the season. They could easily do an A and B team thing.
Send the "big clubs" star players into the A team for the Super Duper Mega league and have the players who usually play in the League Cup etc in the B team for the boring old regular league.
And the grimmest part of all of it is the league table probably wouldn't look much different to what it does now.
I'm not having that. They travel in big numbers. Often relative to the size of the towns. It's also much bigger and takes longer to get anywhere. Will be like Italy, about 6 away fans
Goat, you're already supporting a team in a joke league, just have a look at how the premier league make the game less watchable and interesting year after year.It would become a joke league.
