Hadn’t even thought of that but that’s clearly what’s going to happen.
If anyone’s got a problem with Gordon being sold (even though most of us won’t), then they’ll be unable to express it or they’ll be branded as enemies of the club, as we’ll need to rally around the new manager five minutes later.
Of course if that doesn’t work they can just put a statement out saying Gordon was put jn a headlock by a fan, hence why he absolutely had to go
