Think of it this way - even if hypothetically we got Fonseca in tomorrow there's absolutely no way he's going to come straight in and get a tune out of this bunch of cowards. His rep will take an immediate hit before the season's even out, which would be a disaster.

We are a laughing stock but I fear getting rid now would just make us more of one. It would just cement the whole atmosphere of crisis around the club and that would be toxic for any caretaker to step into.

We bring back Unsworth and he loses the first game and we really are then in a lottery to survive. Even if we did it just does even more damage in attracting anyone of any quality to want to take the job.

The damage is enormous under Allardyce though. So far he has won home games, which if he continues too we will be fine. However slip up against Brighton and pressure will really come on.

I think Moshiri's dream has gone though. Fancy putting the utter fraud in charge and thinking it would turn out ok. Disgusting.
