I call them realistic.
His results are comically bad.
Football is dire and more importantly not producting anything pionts wise to counter the boredom.
The crowd at Goodison is just turning up , nobody has any faith in him or his team to get a result or entertain them, even a blood and cuts effort would get them going and any enthusiasm is soon drained out of them,
real shame as its are last season at Goodison.
Some of the players look like there not buying him, Pickford shouting for subs ect, (thank god for him or we would be more or less down already)
The tide is turning with a few teams around us as we continue to offer nothing we havnt had a good run all season and don't look capable of one if I am honest.
The longer we keep him the harder it will be to stay up
, yes after half a season we are at that piont.
We go into that bottom 3 and it will get messy.
We look like his team at Burnley that ended up going down , loads of huff and puff , no results and every man and his dog knows how we will play and yet we carry on doing it same result.
Its the Premier league not Long lane on a Sunday , you get found out and this fella , his tactics ect have well and truly been found out.

The players are 100% behind him. How do you come to the conclusion they aren't when they've been getting results in all but 3 of the last 12 games for him?

The feller has proven he can keep us up under worse circumstances in the last two seasons than this. To get shut of a man who has overseen two survival seasons is barmy beyond belief. That's why even these trigger happy owners wont go there unless we're dancing on the tapdoor.

I'm not saying it's great, but we've been in worse places before with a similar quality teams below and around us.

I fully expect us to come up with wins against the grain and unexpected draws...like the three against Arsenal, Chelsea and City.

Agreed. Dyche has to be judged on individual merits and results.

The target for me, is not to avoid relegation by a single point or a single goal, on the last day. That can never be good enough, despite all the mitigation.

This is seen as the holy grail now - survive, survive, survive to the end of the season for the mother of all resets and the shiny new stadium.

It's the diet we've been fed on and are used to - "as long as we stay up" - but our luck will eventually run out and leaving all this aside, 8 wins from 37 is sacking territory, and it is for 99% of clubs in the same boat.
