I think the Potter to West Ham is being driven by their DoF and the media who love the 'ammers' unless they move on the contract terms though, think he'll end up here still. All down to if west hams owners budge on the 4 month and option offer and give him a proper long term contract.

Ashworth being available does add an extra element of uncertainty as well.

I can't for the life of me understand why they don't give him say a 3 year deal.

Brady wants him - husbands a close friend of Potter, DoF wants to make a statement to the owner by getting 'his' choice in - Lopetegui was the owners choice, so seems resistance from the owner about committing to someone he doesn't want.

Yes totally. I just wonder where we fit in the soap opera.

Like has he shown an interest? I mean maybe he's using us to pressure them, but I can't imagine we have just asked Potter. I sense Thelwell is a fan and then owners are too.

If Potter is our number 1, I wonder how long we will wait for him?

If you are West Ham though, like Id honestly just keep Lopetegui for 6 months than only giving Potter 6 months.
