FWIW I think anthems should be fluid, they should change to reflect the nation. Every 50 years or so. If/when Ireland is reunited then there will be a new anthem and flags etc. Change is healthy.

Parklife should be considered for England I feel.

Anyway, England doesn't have an official anthem, but it should really be True Colours by Cyndi Lauper
