New posts button

Something up with the new posts button. It's like it's stuck in a loop. Brings you back to the same position as before with no new posts added - as if the site was frozen - clicking from forum to forum or clicking recent is fine and there have been loads of new posts as well.

Bit strange anyway. Maybe it's being caused by the gravitational mass from Allardyce's massive head.

Hmm. New Posts has also been freezing my entire browser recently (most recent Firefox, Windows 10) on an occasional basis by pushing CPU usage up to 90+% in the GOT tab.

BFS might be the answer, I will try rubbing the hard drive with a mixture of sawdust and gravy.

Just had it freeze again and the culprit is possibly static.ads-twitter.com failing to load. (Which appears to be a conversion tracker url...)

Might it be part of the Twitter button or Twitter syndication - I see both trackers on this page (using Ghostery), for example? And doing a small bit of research, it appears that url is part of the Twitter universal website code (pixel tracking)...
