We're upgrading to a new server.

It costs us a little more but needs must - mod efforts to ban more people to reduce server load isn't enough...

For the techies out there, we're moving from a HP ProLiant DL360 G7 to a HP ProLiant DL360 G8.

I'll use this thread to update - it should be pretty seamless but I'm expecting some niggles.

Yeah I think that ship has sailed. Contrary to popular opinion, I rarely banned anyone permanently from this place. Most thought I just wielded the ban hammer indiscriminately, crushing all those in my path. Was much more restrained than that.

Why not have a GOT Lottery? There can be a daily draw and whoever gets picked is axed. Could even go to hourly if more need axing!
