Yep. Was in your beautiful country a year ago. Took the wife on her first tour of England. Visited Cambridge friends and hung out in the Lake District. Spent a few days in London. We were headed back for a repeat this fall but it wasn’t to be.

I replied to you somewhere in this string but I’m about as high tech as a fat TV. I don’t expect to find Colombian players using cold weather and rain as an excuse but Ive seen others throw it out there. That would be a non starter with me since I’ve never been so cold and wet in my life as at some of those late Bogotá matches. That city’s low temps hover betwen 5 and 10 pretty much all year and it rains all the time. If they’re not playing well in English weather it’s because they’re not playing well. No excuses.

My pleasure. Funny thing but Colombia is very proud to have a few players in PL. Everybody lives or dies by their performance in every match. It’s truly a big deal. Lots of pressure I imagine.

He's a very good guy ha and I have no quabble with Turkish people in general. The militant and hostile Tosun fans who came with his signing just didn't go with the vibe of this place really.
