New Stadium - Something unique?

Where we have the tributes to past players on the walls, I would like these to be changed to ever changing images projected onto the walls, showing our full history and images of the past. Like an on going history lesson constantly visible on the outside of the ground. Maybe projected onto the outsides of the corners for us all to watch in awe as we approach the stadium. Simple idea but highly effective in my eyes.

changing images in daylight would be a problem if it was a projecter. it would be really cool for night games though. and some way at night for the stadium to show up blue would be cool.

Yeah I think blue lighting is a must for night games. You can imagine all those european games there now!

Innovation is a good idea (if you'll pardon the pun) but if we're talking Fantasy Football Stadia, how about a bona fide away end? Clearly, with money being the be-all and end-all, you can't have a quarter of your new stadium empty, but a decent-sized section of away fans behind one of the goals might help create a more traditional atmosphere? Just a thought.

Here in Houston, we're having a huge discussion over the design of our new stadium. Personally, I love the idea of having 4 seperate stands, since everybody here is so tradition conscious.

Tradition can be a good thing as it gives you character, but I think its important for it not to stop you with being progressive too. The problem with tradition is that some people live in the past, and theyll only get overtaken by more forward thinking people.

I'd rather Everton created a new tradition so to speak, by looking to continously progress. Lets not forget the past, but lets not live in it either.

There is NO WAY the away supporters should have one end of the ground.Keep them in a corner like they are now. Do you honestly believe we want to see a red shower facing us at derby games crowing about their new ground and listening to "You'll always wank alone"?? The atmosphere at Goodison is better now we have full support at BOTH ends.

well at first I thought "damn right!" but then I thought, what if the away support was making noise, would that then get the evertonians in the ground more vocal?

Last time I was at Goodison it was pretty deadly silent the whole game...

You may have a point there, we're always very vocal away from home, maybe the increased pressure will bring the best out in us.
