NY Govenor, Eliot Spitzer has resigned after he was caught hiring a high-priced prostitute. He made it to become the state govenor by taking down people just like this, so a little hypocrasy is in order.

Anyway, the real reason for the thread is, here is the girl he is alleged to have paid for:

Smokin'!!!!

I've had her, she's not that good:blink::blink::blink::blink::P:lol:

When CNN first broke the news online, not once in the entire article did they mention his party affiliation.

What liberal media bias?

You wouldn't like his type of parties Billy:lol:

Believe me, anytime a Republican is caught up in this type of scandal, the media makes sure you know what party the politician is a part of. But when it comes to a Democrat, they don't feel that it's important information.

I read that CNN article. Not once did you see (D) after Eliot Spitzer's name.

As for my opinion on this whole thing, personally, this couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. The underhanded tactics he used in going after financial and insurance industries in order to work his way up the political ladder was nothing short of blackmail. Of course he was doing this all for "the people."

I can't remember a politician in recent times with an ego as big as this guy.

I don't ever revel in the the demise of others but in recent times, I've made two exceptions where I've been extremely glad to see someone's career come to an end.

This case with Eliot Spitzer is one and the other was of Durham County prosecutor Mike Nifong of the Duke Lacrosse case. Both are scumbags of the highest order and got what was coming to them.

The only people I feel for in both cases were the wives and children of the two.

Agreed Bill these people get their heads stuck so far up their arses they forget who they are(y)

Spitzer had a wife and three girls, all in their teens (not the wife of course...) I can't imagine what they're going through right now.

has it been proved he paid her? or is it an affair with someone that is a whore? is she full or part time? and how did he contact her? is she has a madam then the story could get really juicy, because how many times has he not been caught.

Yep Suits, he was caught on a Federal wiretap investigating money laundering. He hired the girl from the 'Emporer's Club' and shacked up with her in a Manhatten hotel. If he didn't do it, do you think he would have resigned?

how common are federal wire taps? did they sting him or catch him on purpose?

and was the story leaked or did they go to him first with the evidence?

Dunno, dunno and dunno.

Sorry, not much help here. Just the intermediary (sp?)
