It could well be the journalist is just playing games to get the odd "retweet" here and there. But the club isn't exactly transparent with injury news in particular so it could be true.

It's that journalist from the Echo.

Is generally well informed on Club news, I have experienced. But still, I think it's Moyes playing the game.

I don't have twitter nor do I really read the Echo but if I recall correctly some of the guys on here think he talks a bit of rubbish. I'm just hoping that injury news is as you said either Moyes playing games or just a bit of exaggeration.

I will burst a blood vessel if I am shelling out and travelling all the way to this to learn that we have no left or right side to the team. That really had better not happen ffs.

If Baines and Pienaar injured

Howard

Neville - Jagielka - Heitinga - Distin

Naismith - Fellaini - Osman - Oviedo

Anichebe - Jelavic

If Baines and Pienaar are fit to play I think we can win this one (especially with Felli being back as well). If they aren't fit I wouldn't be as confident (obviously). We have a good little run of games after this on where we can make up some ground on Spurs.

I don't think Fellaini will get a decision his way, but hopefully he will take up the focus from Newcastle players and our other players will do the business.

I really can't stand NUFC, only exceptable when they play the RS.

A Jelavic goal would be a good confidence boost, at the right time.

Bad feeling about this game. It's the sort of game we need to win if we have serious top 4 aspirations but quite simply I don't think we will. It's the usual scenario - Newcastle have been in awful form, and will probably produce a performance out of nothing against us.

We'll get some chances, though. Be clinical for once, Everton?

Also, a lot depends on how many of Hitz, Heitinga and Naismith start. Because frankly, the more of them that do, the less chance we have of winning.

I agree.

I have the feeling teams see as a soft touch. They know were pressured to win and that we can be got at.

At the beginning of the season it was different; then I felt opposition teams were really intimidated. Unfortunately that run of a million draws along with not being able to keep clean sheets has exposed us as having a soft centre.

What I hope for is that Moyes can make the players relax and enjoy themselves on the pitch. Just play football and let Newcastle worry about the crowd.

Yes, he felt something in his knee so he was rested...

Fair do's. by 'rested', I thought people were claiming that he'd been rested purely down to keeping him fit for tonight's game - not because of an injury.

#Moyes confims #Pienaar (dead leg) #Baines (ankle) along with #Coleman are very doubtful for the trip to #NUFC #EFC
