What counter argument is worth my time? You've decided that nothing matters or is legitimate aside from what you like so why would I waste my time trying to convince you otherwise?

Well, I have given arguments why I feel that a lot of the metrics used in football analysis add nothing to the game.

I understand this kind of thing is more common in American sports so it's something you've grown up with and is possibly a useful tool in that context. Obviously you feel comfortable with this way of reading the game.

And you've indirectly offered me some good advice. So, since you've decided that this furthers the understanding and people who dismiss it are 'accepting ignorance' I won't waste any more of my time trying to convince you otherwise.

A Part from Diaz, there were lots of other players that moved in the summer, who would you rather have had for say 15/20 M ?

Can't really base the transfers off one summer it's unreliable with inflation
