Aaron they are into the 10th week. However a takeover can't be approved if there are no funds, and the Saudi Royal family haven't shown any interest in investing beyond a distant relative blagging it.

I think we will wait mate, I'm afraid. For a starting point it's not bad thing people thinking we are skint. Secondly prices collapse at the back end of this window. Finally I think our owners are probably waiting to see what concessions are made from FFP. I think we do quite a bit at the back end, when clubs like Napoli start to really feel the pinch.

True mate - although for me I would be finalising the deal for Gabriel now though. French clubs are already skint and we have to avoid a repeat of last summer scrambling around on the final days for targets.
For once it would be nice to get our main targets in early doors and have them ready for the start of the new season instead of our usual slow start.

It would be nice, but they won't do it.
I think we can get Gabriel at a much lower price. It's interesting since we walked away, nobody has moved in and closed the deal (IE Chelsea or Napoli). The question would start to become, do you want just Gabriel now, or Gabriel and Todibo come early August?
