Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Story
In October 2017 Newcastle United was put up for sale. In April 2020 a sale was agreed with a consortium led by Amanda Staveley and including the PIF fund from Saudi Arabia. The deal collapsed on July 30th 2020.
The deal was presented to the governing body the EPL for approval under the criteria of their fit and proper owners test.
The EPL were obliged to apply fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory rules and criteria and adopt swift decision-making procedures. The EPL chose to delay this process and after more than 17 weeks of indecision without any judgement the buyers withdrew their offer.
The fans believe that member clubs acted unlawfully, and collectively agreed to boycott our club. We understand that they did this after being encouraged to do so by other partners including beIN Sports who themselves held a vested commercial interest.
This led to Newcastle supporters feeling discriminated against.
There appears an underlying determination to delay or prevent the takeover of our club, which in itself is unlawful.
We‘d hoped the intervention of 40 MP’s, the PM and the Ombudsman would see movement but today we are still left without answers. As fans we feel this has left us with little option other than make a legal challenge.
The takeover promised so much for our area, namely challenging the ‘top six” clubs both on and off the field, investment in our city and the feel good factor that competing in football brings a region.
However, today we feel that Richard Masters and his associates are determined to stop this from happening. As such our fans have asked for a campaign to stand up and legally challenge this position. Wor Fund has been created for this purpose and will continue until such a takeover is granted or a court rules otherwise.
All fully audited funds surplus to this legal challenge will be equally shared by two popular Newcastle charities, including the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
Thank you for becoming a Wor Funder and joining our campaign for fairness!

OMG lol lol lol lol lol

I read that in the narrator's voice from The A-Team.

I sing it to myself using the theme tune from Fresh Prince of Bel Air
The theme to “Cheers” works as well. Also add your own vocals;

“Well no one told me it was gonna be this way,
The deals a joke, we’re broke,
And Ashley’s gonna stay,
It’s like we’ll never get those cans of beer,
So we’ll be punching horses still this time next year.”
etc

Would love them to go down this season and implode.

A few years in the championship like Leeds would finally humble them I feel
They've had a few seasons down there. Maybe a visit to League 1 would do the trick?

Now the season is approaching this saga seems to have lost steam. I do look forward to the next round of takover talks though.

To be fair, despite the hilarious topless cabarets that they so frequently treat opposition crowds to, I think the cavemen realised a few years ago that their club isn't the footballing giant that perhaps it once was.
Sadly, they ARE the cringeworthy numbskulls they always have been.
Ashley and NUFC; the perfect match.

Oh Mikey, you toy with the Nashun like a cat with a mouse

Blimey, after 22 weeks or is 23 ( I`ve lost count ), they`ve finally woken up and realised that Ashey has been popcorning them all along.

After this declaration of war, I can`t wait to see Paulie Belta dressed up like a camp Action Man, posting Jihad videos from his mums bedroom and Ball Bag Chin, going full on Michael Douglas in Falling Down, as he storms the FA offices lol

"Once more unto the Bigg Market and the local Greggs for my steak, bake bean and cheese melt, dear fat and greasy friend."
