Precautionary? Now that they are completely 100% free from the threat of relegation, I'd rest him too if it meant he had more time to recover for next season. If the Saudi Investment Fund takover fails to materialise, I don't think there'll be any major changes up there and he'll be a key player for them next year.Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson will miss the final three games of the season with a hamstring injury.- has not been back that long either for them
That's truly shocking. I remember the well deserved outcry against Liverpool and Tottenham for trying it on, but nothing against Newcastle. Was this well known about?

There was a report on it, but i cant remember to much eitherThat's truly shocking. I remember the well deserved outcry against Liverpool and Tottenham for trying it on, but nothing against Newcastle. Was this well known about?
Like Everton I think if they did get a take over they wouldnt budge. These are the one club I could just never accept getting a Man City style takeover.
Would put me off football forever seeing these Geordie whoppers bouncing around winning stuff every season.

Newcastle, as in the place, the North East dosent attract top stars. There was some idea muted years ago about the players and training ground all being in the south but they play in Newcastle at the weekend, but losing contact with local people and communities was seen as a reason why it wouldn't be right.
Congratulations to Steve Bruce, Premier League manager of the month. Looking another shrewd appointment by Ashley.
