Villa and Everton have never been the most fashionable clubs. You lot playing second fiddle to your neighbours for the most part of the last 60 years and us being a Midlands club, it’s just not fashionable. At the start of the premier league in 92 you’d have got laughed out of the room if you said Newcastle were a bigger club than villa or Everton. Things have changed for some reason and I have no clue why as they have won nothing during that time and have been relegated twice. I personally think they will struggle to break the monopoly and it’s not as clear cut as they think.
sky will probably start referring to it as the big 7 if they do push the top 6 even though Leicester have been doing that for the last few years but don’t get the media acknowledgment they deserve.

They’re the type of fan bases that love themselves (like the RS) and therefore will click on absolutely any news story about themselves or buy anything with their crest on it. Money money money.
Everton fans are more critical of their own club and hate the media, we just don’t tend to buy stuff to show how much we support Everton, we just quietly go the game home and away without having to prove what top fans we all are all the time. City fans are the same, Arsenal used to be but are getting far worse.

The days of me being a general football fan have gone . The game has gone and I only have interest in villa these days, where as before I’d watch a lot of other games . We had to deal with the double wan*fest for Leeds. First when they come up and then once they allowed fans in the stadium Elland Road was talked about like it was the coliseum in Rome during its heyday. Now these Geordie prat’s getting all hyped up.
