They’ve been gone for a good while. Bobby Robson leaving was the death knell for them, back to irrelevance they went and shall remain.

Its a shame he ended his career up there, Ive always considered him to be a legend of the game and well respected by most football fans. To me he is Fulham and Ipswich, but Newcastle put a statue up of him because he was bigger then they are.
