Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

A section of their fans are absolutely and weirdly obsessed with us and I couldn't give an arse about them and what they are doing with their Saudi blood money!

I am whelmed by their business so far considering what we were told they were going to do this window.
A top goalkeeper and one of the most coveted defenders in Europe and pre-season hasn't even begun. This is so to alongside one of the most coveted midfielders in January, and also making players who impressed on loan permanent. Plus you can guarantee they'll make a number of other signings. They'll sign a top striker and probably spend another 100m. Instant top four challengers imo.

A relegated goalkeeper and a non-capped defender for £35m who played for a mid table side in France? And making Matt Targett permanent? As I said, whelmed. I’ll stick my neck on the line here and say they won’t sign a top striker either, unless you also consider average strikers “top” strikers like you for some reason class Nick Pope as a top player.

Quite possibly although however much success they have and however much they celebrate and laud it over others they aren't football royalty to look down on others. They're people who put tea towels on their heads and happily sold the soul of their club for money.

Maybe it makes sense from a business and footballing point of view but Newcastle United is now owned by a country that still crucifies people and unfortunately I think what the Toon Army have shown is a complete lack of integrity.

lol I said I wasn't a fan of one of their signings on Twitter and the amount of vile things said about scousers and Everton was nothing I've ever experienced.

I see their new sleeve sponser is saudi based and worth £7.5 million a year.

@EverTheOptimist wuz right here comes the sponser doping ?

@catcherintherye
Yeah I saw that, they also have their shirt sponsor ending next summer, the owners paid them off for 3 seasons it had left, expect Saudia or Aramco to be on the shirt.

Of the associated sponsorship by owners in the PL last season , Man City have 78%, the rest of the 22% came from Leicester, Palace and the Usmanov before sanctions.

So much for City's claims of being "Self reliant" lol, owners prop their turnover to the tune of £200 milion per year from 14 Abu Dhabi based Mansour royal family owned businesses, same will happen at Newcastle, expect around £200 milion to prop their turnover up in the next 2-3 seasons.

Be funny if they ended up pipping Liverpool - who are sponsored by a firm who launder money for terrorism i.e Bloody money - to a CL place though wouldn’t it. The likes of Redsince86 from RAWK will be frothing at the mouth with thrush and have tear gas flooding from his eyes and ears.
