Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

What do you think about them unquestionably cheering on a team owned by a fascist regime John?
Put it this way, if Everton had those owners I'd cheer the team on unquestionably. Owners come and go, the club remains. I'd love a trillionaire fascist in charge of our club, at least we might get some better results!

COYB!

John.

I honestly don't know why the Newcastle fans have turned into such a gang of trumpets - because at least in my experience they never used to be! Back in the late 80s I used to work with some Geordie lads, and they were absolutely sound, knew their footy and their beer, and always a great night out.

One time in the 90s I went up to Newcastle when we played them in a night match - took my wife who had a season ticket at Goodison at the time. We lost 1-0, and we were staying over in South Shields for the night, so we headed into a pub there. Of course we ran into a table full of celebrating Geordies who'd beeen to the match, and they invited us over to join them. After a bit of piss-taking ('Aye lads - make room for the Vanquished here will you?') they got the beers in the rest of the night and we had a lock-in until 2am. Brilliant night.

What happened to fans like that? Of were they always there but I got lucky a few times??

You did well finding Newcastle fans in South Shields mate, as from my own experiences it`s full on Sunderland over that side of the bridge.

How would you feel if Hitler wasn`t dead and used the stolen Third Reich loot, to buy Everton John ?

See now this is quite funny but they’re all such weird attention seekers.

I have almost exactly the same picture except it’s my dog in the picture. I didn’t go and get someone to take a dramatic picture of me trying to piece together the torn pieces because I’m not a weirdo.

Edit because the world needs more dog pictures: he did this to a gas bill 🤣CFCEFA2B-3E64-4075-92A1-5DFCB33B836F.webp

That is true actually. My sister went to university up there and I know that is Sunderland territory. I can only assume the Newcastle lads were more likely to be in the pubs with the match having been on.

Still a top night though.
