Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Howe was always, and still is, on a hiding to nothing. When the serious money arrives the incumbent manager is only a short run of results away from the chop and the owners will get the big name manager in.

No different to Hughes at City when the money arrived, they couldn't wait for him to lose a few to give them the justification ( not that much is needed for any club to sack Hughes to be fair).

Howe is a dead man walking, even if he wins next 10 he only has to lose the following 3.

Howe has showed himself to be a decent enough manager, but top level - nah. Last season, he was fortunate the likes of Almerion went through purple patches.

They heavily relied on Trippier too, who is no spring chicken. When they're competing in Europe against top clubs, they'll have to focus their attention there.

This will have an impact on Howe and many of their players, as they won't be overly familiar with having to balance the two, which mean they'll lose games.

Once they've had a poor little run, Howe will be jettisoned for them to bring in a top name with the experience they respect.

If Newcastle sack Howe, would you take him to replace Dyche?
The club is toxic top to bottom one of footballs most revered Carlo Ancelotti struggled to get a tune out of these mercenaries.
Doesn't matter who is in the managers seat until the board and owners are usurped I doubt any manager could go places with this lot.

Newcastle are needing to learn you don't become a consistent top 6 club overnight regardless of how much money you have.
We're a prime example to a lesser extent spunking half a billion in what seemed to be a blink of an eye and look at the state of us now.
I don't believe Howe is the guy to take them forward, he doesn't appear to be ruthless enough.
The RS gave them a bloodied nose last week, Brighton embarrassed them this week, what a player that Ferguson is BTW.
Gordon had a decent game last week but was amateurish yesterday and looked completely out of his depth, the team as a whole didn't appear to have much fight about them.
The clock is ticking on Howe if he doesn't get the magpies back on track very quickly.
