Wouldn't be surprised if Everton are one of the 7. The future owners run a multi club model.

It’s dumb regardless another nail in the coffin of club football. Will all become franchises soon with league games played in different countries and a super league. Money has poisoned the game. New generations will lap it up but it’s not for me

Would happily see the scab 6 go off and form some mega money World League if it returned the English league back to being 'low quality ' but competitive.

Will never happen, but the way things are/are going is just rubbish.

I wanted them to leave for the super league a few years ago.

The scab 6 will now include Newcastle of course now though and be the scab 7. Despite them having never won much. Saudi money will make sure they are at the party.
