There should be a review and rule that every official should admit where their allegiance lies for footballing integrity before they become professional. The amount of ex kopites involved in both punditry and commentary is ridiculous. There is without doubt a massive amount of corruption in the officiating of these games.

Like them or loath them, they have the cash to spend (even if it is dirty Saudi money) and can't spend it due to the FFP restrictions currently in place.

I’m still a bit unconvinced exactly how much of the PIF funds / who controls the taps is actually committed to them if I’m honest, ie how much of a priority they are.
They’ve hardly done what Abu Dhabi did with City (yet) and have been there 3-4 years already……
For context look how much PIF is / was spending on the boxing and LIV golf….
There's the argument of P&S rules of course, but that hasn’t stopped city, and this court case doesn’t exactly look to be reigning them in.

Nasty piece of work Kieron Dyer. I was living in Newcastle during his time there. A lot of the players from that team were up to no good and got away with murder.

Referees are required to inform PGMOL of the club they support.

Coote, from Nottingham, is registered as a Notts County fan and is therefore unable to officiate County or Nottingham Forest matches.

I see a load of Newcastle pages on Facebook constantly crying about PSR and the League being corrupt and trying to constantly punish them.

Makes me laugh cause I tried telling the Geordies who I know exactly what would happen as they all sat there laughing at Everton getting punished etc.
