Early days Khal - he played for the U-23s on Monday I believe. The squad is still being assessed ahead of the transfer window and I think that Beni will be in the first team plans again..I wonder why Beni has dropped out the picture.
I just want Niasse to get some playing time. If his role is being an impact sub, so be it. He deserves some playing time...he has more quality than most give him credit for.
He was awful against the rs. Couldn't hold the ball for more than a second. Gave it away or was tackled every single time. He's still rubbish y'know. Might have a ton of heart but that only goes so far.
It's not just that everyone was bad against the rs though. He was really bad. He's got no control of the ball when he's trying to link up play or to keep the ball from coming back at the defence. Sure, he'll score a few given the chance, but we needed more from him than that and he failed miserably. He'll probably get a few chances because we're so short but I defo don't want him starting or even playing more than 25 mins.About 4 players played well against Liverpool. He has scored some big goals for us this season. Look at his finish against Sunderland, his touch and finish against Bournemouth was pure quality, and lest we forget his lovely Palace goal (and man of the match performance). The lad has more ability than we are willing to give him credit for.
away at Barcodes wont be easy for the young 'uns so a bit of experience in the middle is a good idea.My guess is he's gone Schneiderlin because of experience, Newcastle are desperate for a win and MS might be that bit calmer under pressure than Beni, who has been very good when he's played. Maybe Beni might be in the squad for Swansea on Monday at GP ?
He's scored some goals which has surprised all of us but he is still a bit of a liability over the 90 minutes. Everything bounced off of him on the weekend.About 4 players played well against Liverpool. He has scored some big goals for us this season.
