Really not sure what to make of this scenario, think it says something about his confidence in his own ability if he thinks staying would be detrimental to his developement, ie if he’s not confident he will get in front of Niels N for example then I guess he need to do what’s best for himself.
Can’t see it’s purely financial going there, will be interesting to see what the tribunal set his value at…,,

I'd imagine it will be 2/3 million.

We'll want more, Southampton will offer 50p, as is their right.

If he has a great career elsewhere he won't be the first and it certainly won't be the last.

Not sure Southampton under the Costco Klopp is the best move for his footballing education. Oh well.

Aaron Lennon has transferred back to Burnley on a free. Considering the dark times he's had it's gratifying to see that he's still a professional footballer. I hope he does well there.
