Nice to see Joe Anderson coming on for Sunderland in 66th minute when they were 3-0 up to close out the game . Chuffed for him, a total warrior who gives everything .

Quite an achievement to get to the play offs for them. They pipped Gary Rowett’s Millwall to the last spotNice to see Joe Anderson coming on for Sunderland in 66th minute when they were 3-0 up to close out the game . Chuffed for him, a total warrior who gives everything .
Indeed . I don't think of him as an ex player , those memories of him in the 69/70 league winning team will always ensure he’s remembered as a Blue. The greatest.
The best I ever saw Eggs, he had the lot.i loved Alex Young and Kevin Sheedy and Andre Kancheskelcis, but, Bally was head and shoulders above them all as a rounded football player. He was always the fittest and most determined player on the park and oh what a gifted footballer. How we have fallen.….just as I genuinely remember where I was when JFK was shot in 1963, I remember exactly where I was when I heard Alan Ball had passed (on M62 en route to a meeting in Leeds on that hill that drops down to the Brighouse junction). He was the greatest.
I went to Oldham for their final league game of this season. They played Bromley who had already made the playoffs. Nice team he has there really.I saw at the weekend that David Unsworth has two ex Everton youth players with him at Oldham. Josef Yarney is a centre back, I don’t believe he played above u18s for us and Bassala Sambou a striker we got from Coventry after he’d made a first team debut for them at about 17 . He played regularly at u21/23 level but never made any real impact .
The Joe Royle Stand, Royal Blue jerseys...Unsy, Jeffers etc.... but yeah 1-1 it finished after they should have been 3-0 up at half time. I felt like I fitted right in tbh, might go againI went to Oldham for their final league game of this season. They played Bromley who had already made the playoffs. Nice team he has there really.
Ebbrell and Jeffers are his coaching staff, John Rooney plays in their midfield as well.
Cracking ground for a non-league club, ex prem 90s ground so all seater. Good luck to him and them, it seemed like a happy place.
