What a fantastic side we had back then, I really feel for all the youngsters out there who have never experienced a winning Everton team.

As a kid, I vaguely remember the 69/70 side, but then had 14 barren years before the 80’s glory years.

I can’t imagine going nearly 30 years with nothing; but that what binds us these days.
