This is totally unrealistic- relax - but I wish there was a way you could somehow have a 'hindsight clause' or a 'long-term loan' on players by letting them go and then 5 years later if they turn out good - oh wait can we have you back now? A more serious idea might be if a player is sold or loaned to a partner club which is like a development club and then we buy them back when they're doing better. I can only think of a couple of examples but Duffy is a solid PL defender, Lundstram also not bad, and for a while of course Eric Dier. Some players really come good after 2-3 years in the lower leagues as a consistent starter. It's the kind of thing DCL would benefit from, but then in 2-3 years if he actually improved then someone with more money will buy him.

Of all the young players the last few years I always thought Walsh was an absolute shoe in to make it to the first team , always seemed to pick up an injury at the wrong time . hopefully he will be able to climb the ladder the talent is definitely there
