The investment in women's football when it got turned professional in 2018(?) has shown that the USA's superstars such as Rapinoe are beyond awful and their dominance is over.

It's great to see that other nations are now able to promote their women's teams but there's still a long way to go.

To answer the question, no she would be an absolute flop, she had a group of players who are twice as good now than the national team was 3/4 years ago and shows no signs of being at the tactical level male managers are currently.

Think she would do a decent job. Just don’t think we are actually good enough to win anything so don’t think it will actually take us any further than Southgate has managed.

And it’s all irrelevant because it’s 100% going to be Lampard or Gerrard.

For me it is 50/50.

There is no difference to saying an up and coming manager in the lower leagues definitely can't manage higher up. It is just something that you cannot say for a fact.

Wiegman will have just as much football as a lot of top level coaches/managers so I am of the opinion 'Why not?'. The biggest stumbling block could be respect from the players, you would hope that this would not be the case though. There should be a lot of respect for what she has done at International level and not just for England.

Hope so, just to see what happens.
