He is still noncommittal in his recent pressers. Embarrassing we failed to get anyone else if it happens. I'm a rare fan who welcomes allardyce considering I believe we are in crisis but surely this is going against moshiri? All that talk of Hollywood managers and this is what we then get? It all seems so badly done, almost like it is a panic decision.

As much as I support the idea of bringing him in, it will still be the death of the team. I'm sorry but when relegation avoidance is the aim then what is the point? Expected losses, weeks without a manager and then bringing in a free agent anyway that will be unpopular. It's again completely amateurish from the board. At least after 6 weeks come up with a manager that is worth the time.
