As a young fan, I havn't seen us win anything but i can't remember us ever being this bad................................

I am going to say it, I would be happy to see David Moyes return to save the sinking ship even when we lost with Moyes we were never this bad, this consistently. I didn't watch much of Sunderland last season but were they as bad? the only team i can remember who was this awful in the prem were Derby County.......

Yeah cos Moyes has got a phenomenal record of stopping ships from sinking, hasn't he.....?

Not sure what a new manager can do about the lack of defensive players. You can't play Holgate at CB. You can't play Williams at CB unless he's man marking some giant sloth. If Keane isn't healthy we are dead. Jags is still our 2nd best CB, which is terrifying. Besic might have to play at CB. Seriously. That is a red card waiting to happen.

There's plenty to work with beyond the backline, which is where a new manager can make the difference.

However, this really is the board and Walsh's fault. Needed a CB and a CF. It's simple as that. The team has two massive holes. A manage can fill in some of the other games - wide players, we have some that could be effective. Playmakers in the midfielder - we have a couple, just a matter of getting them to work in the right tactics. Ball winners in the midfield - got those two, need to find the right combo.

I found this quite strange.

BIG SAM IN
MorgsGoat, Mar 24, 2010

If you love somebody, set them free, David Moyes is a good Man, in a world full of Happy Arrys at Spurs, hes a shining light in a basket of horse****, he doesnt deserve to fail as much as he is, I hope he does leave, hes too good for us, we DESERVE somebody like Big Sam, im convinced of this now.
MorgsGoat, Feb 2, 2011

Theres no way Big Sam would come here anyway, he only takes MASSIVE Clubs on.

Would the majority of fans accept Moyes until the end of the season?

I'd take moyes over Sam everyday of the week. He cares about us and will passionately attempt to rectify our ills. The fact this is even a question is a damning indictment on our club. The current day moyes and Sam shouldn't even be a consideration worthy of meaningful discussion.

If this Iranians got the dough Van Frandel Hessen.

He doesn't mate. He assessed the Everton squad that we had and knew he could well a few of them for massive money. The stadium has slowed down and now he's crapping it that his investment is about to tank.

He will hire someone like Allardyce and him and his fraud mate Walsh (who coutenanced the signing of some serious crap this summer and the one before) will destroy the club for years. Had someone yesterday claim Bolton's mess was a coincidence.... as is Sunderland's.... and Blackburn's... yeah oh....

You do know Sunderland are in a league below us right. Moyes is past it
