Quite a contrast between AVB and Sam, just underlines if true the absolute lack of planning and coherency from the board.

I don't give much credence to the clear out rumours, though it would be great if true.

Would seem very silly to appoint a new manager and then get rid of the CEO and/or DoF, especially after a five weeks of waiting to get a manager.

If MoshirI was both willing and able to clear the decks, it would have been ideal to do it just as Koeman was sacked.

But then this is Everton and logic and good timing play no part in anything.

AvB would explain some of the wait, as his season in China will finish this weekend.
Plus he has worked twice with Walsh, both when he was assistant to Mourinho at Chelsea and when he was the manager. Plus Moshiri saying we are close and his odds dropping are no coincidence. I put 3 euro on it lol

If Dyche did get the job, he'd want to appoint ALL of his backroom staff - Ian Woan (assistant manager), Tony Loughran (first team coach) and so on and decide which players he wanted to sign. What would happen to the likes of David Unsworth and Duncan Ferguson?

Or will Unsworth still be nominally in charge with the new manager watching from the stands?

Unsworth will still be in the dugout and our shortlist of 3 will, by then be a new shortlist of 4, having been turned down by the original shortlist of 3. I think.
